Scope

This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by full-time and part-time employees, volunteers when acting on behalf of Exalogic Consulting, contractors and partners doing business on behalf of Exalogic Consulting, as well as all legal entities, all operating locations in all countries, and all business processes conducted by Exalogic Consulting.

Information Collection

We may collect the following personal data in line with the use purposes explained in a subsequent section and when you interact with the Website or Mobile Apps, such as if you choose to register or create a user profile on the Website or a Mobile App (e.g., to gain access to specific content, attend a hosted event, respond to a survey or request communications about specific areas of interest), or otherwise provide it to us. Depending on the specific Communication you are receiving, or the Web page of the Website or Mobile App you are using, such information may consist of:

The Website may also collect content that you provide, including postings on blogs, forums and other social media applications and services that we may provide. We do not usually seek to collect sensitive personal information (i.e., data relating to race or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions, medical or health conditions, or information specifying the sex life or sexual orientation of an individual) from users. We will, where necessary, obtain your explicit consent to collect and use such information.

Information Use

We collect and use your personal information with your consent to provide you with access to the Website, Mobile Apps and Communications, or where we have a legitimate business interest in or other legal basis for, such collection and use. The personal information you submit to us may be used to manage our relationship with you, including any of your requests, or to customize or improve the Website or a Mobile App and related services offered to you.

We may also use your personal information for marketing purposes, or to send you promotional materials or communications regarding services provided by us or other members of the Deloitte Network that we feel may be of interest to you. We may also contact you to seek feedback on services provided by members of the Deloitte Network or for market or other research purposes. Your personal information may also be used to protect our rights or property and that of our users.

You may at any time request that we discontinue sending you Communications, emails or other correspondence.

Right to access and control your personal information

You can control the information we have about you and how we use it in several ways.

Personal data about minors and children

We understand the importance of protecting children's online privacy. It is not our policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Cookies and web beacons

Cookies and web beacons are electronic placeholders that are placed on your device by websites to track your individual movements on that website over time. We use both session-based cookies (which last only for the duration of the user's session) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device and provides information about the session you are in and waits for the next time you use that site again).

These cookies and web beacons provide useful information to Exalogic Consulting, enabling us to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user's access to and use of our sites, allows us to track usage behaviour, and to balance the usage of our websites on all Exalogic Consulting web servers.

Do Not Track (DNT)

The online advertising industry has self-regulatory initiatives designed to provide consumers a choice in the types of ads they may see online and to conveniently opt-out from online behavioural ads served by some or all of the companies participating in these programs. Our websites do not respond to DNT consumer browser settings.

Collaboration with authorities

We have appointed and mandated a privacy officer who represents the regulatory authorities inside the organization, and in return represents Exalogic Consulting to regulatory authorities. The privacy officer will ensure proper communication with the relevant regulatory authority for privacy. The privacy officer will lead investigative action, complaint handling and data breach notification. The privacy officer will also monitor regulatory changes and consult the regulatory authority where implementation of a regulatory or technological change leads to doubt.

Transfer of information to other countries

As a global organization, we engage in a number of international activities. In connection with the management of those activities, Exalogic Consulting may transfer information to other countries. By submitting your information to Exalogic Consulting via the websites, or in connection with your interactions with Exalogic Consulting offline, you consent to such transfers and to the processing of this information in other countries.

Responses to legal requests

We reserve the right to share your information to respond to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities or where required by law. In the event of bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in this privacy policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.

Your European Union privacy rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679) (also known as GDPR), if you are an individual protected by the GDPR you may have certain rights as a data subject. To request information about or avail yourself of those rights, please send an email to info@exalogic.co with "GDPR Request" in the subject line. In the email please describe, with specificity, the GDPR right you are requesting assistance with. Please note additional information may be requested prior to initiation of a request and that Exalogic Consulting reserves the right to charge a fee with respect to certain requests. Upon Exalogic Consulting’s completion of its review you will be notified if your request has been granted, denied, or exemptions apply.

Your California privacy rights

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (also known as S.B. 27), if you are a California resident and your business relationship with Exalogic Consulting is primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, you may request certain data regarding Exalogic Consulting’s disclosure, if any, of personal information to third parties for the third-parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to info@exalogic.co with "Request for California Privacy Information" in the subject line. You may make such a request up to once per calendar year. If applicable, we will provide you, by email, a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the third parties' names and addresses. Please note that not all personal information sharing is covered by S.B. 27's requirements.
