Pharmalink upgrades ERP with SAP S/4HANA and C4C to drive operational efficiency

UAE, 24 June 2022: Leading pharmacy chain and medicines distributor in the UAE, Pharmalink is upgrading its enterprise resource planning (ERP) with SAP S/HANA and Cloud for Customer (C4C) to efficiently manage its operations by digitalizing warehouse management, finance processes, sales, distribution, and procurement processes. The project will also provide intelligence and reporting while further integrating SAP and third-party systems to standardize the processes, leveraging the expertise of Exalogic Consulting, a leading SAP partner in the region. 

As the distribution operations continue to expand along with a growing chain of stores, Pharmalink felt the need to change the approach to handling processes to make them efficient and eliminate any redundancies that keep them from realizing their full potential. Further, they envisioned an error-free process by minimizing manual intervention wherever possible. To fulfill this agenda, Pharmalink engaged with Exalogic Consulting, a distinguished SAP partner with extensive experience in transforming organizations through technology consulting and services. 

To address the challenges of Pharmalink, Exalogic Consulting introduced best practices to modernize their ERP by upgrading to SAP. This is intended to optimize efficiency and effectiveness on par with the organization’s vision. Pharmalink has analyzed the proposal and determined it feasible for their expansion, and thus partnering with Exalogic Consulting to implement SAP S/4HANA and SAP C4C and realize improvements in warehousing, inbound and outbound standardization, shipment tracking, CRM integration and pricing and promotion. 

The project is expected to be delivered by year-end, providing end-to-end integration of all business functions, complete visibility, process automation, while adding data analytics capabilities and consequently saving time and resources for the client. Exalogic Consulting has also prepared a change management strategy to help Pharmalink’s employees transition into the new SAP S/4 ecosystem seamlessly.   Above all, once the implementation is completed, Pharmalink would be better placed to continue on its path to grow and expand its medicinal product distribution business. Procuring and warehousing from across the globe will now be done far more efficiently, with shorter turnaround times and lower costs.
